Who runs The Local Skoop-West Chester?
TLS is run by a local marketing agency called Skigital, owned by Kim Cunningham and Shanna DeCola. Skigital is located in Downingtown and we have been working with restaurants and their marketing needs for over 5 years. Some of our clients in West Chester include Kooma, The Stone Tavern, Pietros Prime, Spence Cafe and Limoncello.
Why is The Local Skoop-West Chester a good idea?
The Local Skoop West Chester was created after Kim and Shanna uncovered a need within the local restaurant community. Many of the business owners in WC felt that the sense of community within the borough was not as strong as it used to be, yet they were unsure how to unify and co-promote their businesses. In addition, other dining destinations such as Media borough and Kennett Square were rising in popularity. We know that by creating a resource showcasing all that West Chester has to offer, and utilizing our marketing expertise and knowledge of web and social media, we will secure West Chester as the #1 dining destination in Chester County by increasing foot traffic and interest in the area.
