RESTAURANTS

  • Increased sanitation and cleaning procedures

    • Every night doing a deep clean of the entire store or restaurant

    • Increase number of hand sanitizer dispensers throughout restaurants

  • If employees feel bad at all - advise them to stay at home

  • Maximize to-go and delivery options;
    especially with the decrease in any supplies at grocery stores or possible closing of them​ 

  • If you can’t come out to join us, here is what you can do at home

    • Recipes

    • Order in date nights

  • Restricting large group gatherings and private parties

  • Bathrooms being more heavily stocked with hygiene items

  • Flyers throughout the restaurant - wash hands, use hand sanitizer, etc.

  • Shutting down buffets or no self serve

  • Take condiments etc. off of the table - they need to be asked for and given that in a cup

  • Keep tables 5 feet apart wherever possible

  • Prop doors open to avoid touching and contamination

  • Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with food.

  • How to ease customer anxiety: turn off TVs, turn on music instead

  • Think about shutting down bar areas - drinks if ordered will come to you

  • Bartenders wear gloves

  • Disposables

    • Table cloths

    • Cups

    • Paper napkins 

  • Menus

    • Encourage customers to access the menus on their phone in place of menu

    • Limit menus to one per table

  • Providing talking points for employees if a customer or fellow employee appears to exhibit symptoms of the virus. 

 

SALONS

  • Heightened cleaning regimen for all tools, supplies, stations, etc. 

  • All employees will wash hands before and after contact with customers

  • Spa - customers and employees will be asked to wash hands and sanitize upon arrival for an appointment 

  • Spa - Beds wiped down, sanitary paper used and replaced after every customer, no double dipping wax

  • Nail Services - gloves will be worn

 

PUBLIC FACILITIES

  • Prop doors open

  • Suspend visiting hours until further notice

  • Close the gift shop

  • Think about shutting down the attic for the time being

  • Take extra safety precautions when it comes to rentals, surface cleaning, etc.

  • Everything should be handled with gloves

  • Think about closing or limiting the second floor

  • Sanitize locker rooms after each use

 

TRAVEL AGENCIES

  • Waive cancellation fees if possible

  • Focus on promoting travel to safe places

  • Safety tips for travel

  • Contact people that have booked trips with them to address any concerns or issues
    - esp. Destination weddings and honeymoons

 

SERVICE INDUSTRIES

  • What the employees are doing to stay healthy

  • What you can do to ensure that you do not get infected or spread germs
