TEXT MESSAGE MARKETING CASE STUDY



Overview
Brickside Grille is an upscale, casual restaurant located in Exton, Pa, serving a creative American menu with ethnic influences. It’s known for fresh seafood from its raw bar, which includes oysters, shrimp & clams, that are caught and delivered daily from a local fish market in Philadelphia. Brickside Grille is known for its weekly events such as Brunch on Sunday, Buck a Shuck Wednesday, and live music daily.



Objectives
Brickside Grille wanted to reach its customers in a unique way that could promote its seafood, events, and other promotions. Through SMS marketing, we are able to promote to a broad audience at specific times to increase brand awareness and generate more sales.

Process
To grow an audience, Skigital encourages individuals to sign up by designing a card that will be included in every customer's receipt booklet when they close out their bill. This card gets the attention of the customers, which allows them to sign up while they are waiting to checkout. We also promote customers to sign up for SMS marketing through social media pages such as Instagram and Facebook.





Conclusion
Since 2020, Brickside Grille has generated 1,547 subscribers. In a four-month span, 142 people signed up for their SMS marketing. Through these sign-ups, we are able to collect individuals names, email addresses, phone numbers, birthdays, and anniversaries. This information can have multipurposes such as inputting this information within our database for our email marketing service.

​Here at Skigital, we hope to continue to see an increase in subscribers for Brickside Grille. We believe that communicating through text messages is a simple and effective way to spread brand awareness and increase sales when it comes to promotions.
